Synopsis
Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season is a documentary film that follows her rise from child prodigy to a four-time Olympic gold medalist. The film captures her competing in her final World Championship (2019) as she tries to break the record set by Sweden’s Ingemar Stenmark for the most number of championships. Todd Jones directed the film. This documentary dovetails nicely with some of the stronger episodes of ESPN’s 30 for 30 doc series. This has become a portrait of a strong woman in transition and that is considerably more inspiring than yet another shallow sports documentary. Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season is directed by Todd Jones and was released on Nov 26th, 2019.
